Bangladesh: Food Safety Assessment of Foods Derived from GE Plants - 2013

In 2013, the Bangladesh Standards Testing Institute published a guideline to assess the food safety of products derived from genetically engineered (GE) plants. The guideline will be used to assess GE plant products that are undergoing the GE regulatory review process (specific to food safety) in Bangladesh before they are approved for commercialization.
