Bulgaria: FAIRS Country Report

Bulgaria acceded to the European Union (EU) in 2007 and follows all EU food safety, quality and standards directives and regulations. The following updates the 2017 Bulgaria Food and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards (FAIRS) report about applicable Bulgarian regulations for U.S. foodproduct exports, particularly those which differ from EU legislation. This report should be read in conjunction with the U.S. Mission to the EU’s (USEU) Office of Agricultural Affairs’ (OAA) most recent EU FAIRS report.
