Canada: Climate and Sustainability Part of Canada's Next Agriculture Policy Framework

Climate change, the environment, and increased participation of Indigenous Peoples, women and youth will feature alongside more traditional priorities like competitiveness, innovation and international trade in Canada’s future agricultural policy framework. Federal, provincial and territorial agriculture ministers made the announcement on July 22, 2022, while the policy framework will be implemented from April 1, 2023.
