On June 27, 2016, Chile’s Ministry of Health’s (MOH) new Nutritional Labeling Law came into force. Products that exceed the MOH’s set limits of sugar, salt, saturated fats and calories are required to put a label in the shape of a stop sign on the front of the package and are prohibited from advertising or marketing those products to children under 14 years of age (please refer to Section V, Labeling Requirements for more information).
