China: Call for Public Comments for National Food Safety Standards

On October 18, 2023, China’s Food Safety Standards Monitoring and Evaluation Department of the National Health Commission (NHC) published an announcement soliciting public comments on eleven national food safety standards. The announcement listed eleven national food safety standards including three food additives, four food products, one nutrition and special dietary food, one production operation rule, and two food-related products. This report contains an unofficial translation of the Announcement and the list calling for public comments.
