China: China Enacts Tariffs in Response to U.S. 301 Tariffs

On July 6, 2018, the People’s Republic of China’s Ministry of Commerce (MOFCOM) enacted additional tariffs on select U.S. products as previously announced. The products that the additional tariffs impact can be found in the following FAS GAIN report, CH 18034. U.S. exporters of the affected commodities should be aware that the new tariffs are effective July 6, and should check with local importers to verify changes in tariff treatment.
