Renowned American chef Rick Bayless visited Chengdu from June 25-28, 2014 as part of the U.S. Diplomatic Culinary Partnership Program. ATO Chengdu and the Consulate’s Public Affairs Section organized a culinary showcase and competition among eight local executive chefs in Chengdu that enabled Chef Bayless to explore Chengdu's rich culinary culture and share his unique American approach to cooking.
