China: National Food Safety Standard Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Foods

On August 15, 2019, China's National Health Commission, Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and the State Administration for Market Regulation jointly released the National Food Safety Standard - Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Foods (GB 2763-2019), which will be implemented on February 15, 2020. GB 2763-2019 sets 7,107 maximum limits of 483 pesticides in 256 categories (kinds) of foods.
