Egypt’s economy is rebounding registering its largest growth rate since the outbreak of the 2011 revolution, growing by 4.2 percent in FY 2014/15. However, consumer spending is slowing due to a deteriorating Egyptian pound and the aftershocks of the reduction in fuel and electricity subsidies.
