In 2014 the total fish catch in Estonia was 67,964 MT, which included the Baltic Sea, long-distance and inland fisheries. The majority of Estonian supplies of fish originate from the Baltic Sea catch. In Estonia there are 83 fish processing plants producing for the domestic and export markets. Estonia imports mainly raw fish used by the local industry for further processing.
