The Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional (HRI) sector represents 4.5 percent of the country’s GDP. Guatemalan consumers have returned to eating out looking for restaurants that can offer innovation in the gastronomic industry not only focusing on food preparation, but also on presentation, fusion cuisine, and the technology applied to food production processes.
