In 2018, Haiti imported $915 million of agricultural and related products. The United States is the primary supplier of agricultural and related products, capturing 41 percent market share (valued at $377 million in 2018). The growing population led to increased demands for certain products in 2018, creating opportunities for U.S. processed vegetables, pork, planting seeds, and poultry.
