Honduras: FAIRS Export Certificate Report

The Secretariat of Agriculture and Livestock (SAG) has the National Plant and Animal Health Service (SENASA) as the main regulatory agency responsible for the inspection of all agricultural products that enter Honduras. The Secretariat of Health (MOH) has the General Directorate of Surveillance of the Health Normative Framework (DGVMN) as the responsible agency for the sanitary registration and inspection of processed food products at the retail and wholesale levels. The Certificates requested by SENASA and the DGVMN are described in the report.
