On December 5, 2016, the Indian Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution’s Department of Legal Metrology published an advisory to postpone the implementation date of the Legal Metrology (Packaged Commodities) (Amendment) Rules, 2015, until March 31, 2017.
