India: Final Standards for Cereal and Cereal Products in the Indian Gazette

The final notification on standards for Durum wheat maida, quinoa, instant noodles and pearl millet flour was published in the Official Gazette of India. These standards are in addition to the existing standards of cereal and cereal products in the Food Safety and Standards (Food Product Standards and Food Additives) Regulation, 2011. The Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) notes the implementation date as September 18, 2017.
