Government of India notified Draft Food Safety and Standards Amendment Regulations 2017(Food Products Standards and Food Additives) related to meat and meat products, fish and fisheries products, and proprietary foods. The deadline for comments for World Trade Organization (WTO) Sanitary and Phytosanitary Measures (SPS) Committee members is sixty days from the date of notification to WTO. To date, this regulation has not been notified to the WTO.
