India: GOI Notifies Standards for Histamine Level in Fish and Fish Products

The Government of India’s (GOI) Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) published official gazette notification for Food Safety and Standards (Contaminants, toxins and Residues) First Amendment Regulations, 2017, which defines the list of histamine forming fishes and standards for histamine level in fish and fishery products. The regulation has not been notified to the World Trade Organization (WTO) till date.
