India: Tariff Hike on U.S. Agricultural Products Further Deferred to May 16
On May 2, 2019, the Government of India’s (GOI) Ministry of Finance (MOF) further deferred the implementation date, from May 2, 2019, to May 16, 2019, of the proposed increase in the basic custom duty (BCD) for exports of specific U.S. agricultural products (i.e. artemia, shelled and in-shell almonds, in-shell walnuts, fresh apples and pulses).
