Favorable weather in Northern Sumatra and lowland Southern Sumatra are forecast to increase Indonesia’s 2018/19 coffee production to 11.1 million bags, with green bean exports projected to reach 7.2 million bags. Production and exports for 2017/18 are revised downward due to poor weather conditions affecting both Arabica and Robusta. Imports reach record levels for January-March period.
