Japan: Japan Notifies WTO of Revised Sethoxydim Residue Standards

On December 17, 2019, Japan notified the World Trade Organization via G/SPS/N/JPN/710 of a proposal to change Japan's maximum residue levels for Sethoxydim for various commodites. The public comment period for the notification will close on February 15, 2020. Interested U.S. parties are encouraged to share their comments and/or concerns with the USDA’s enquiry point (us.spsenquirypoint@fas.usda.gov). For potential inclusion in the official U.S. position, please send your comments to PlantDivision@usda.gov by February 10, 2020.
