Japan: Japan Prepares to Allow Preventative ASF Culls in Case of Outbreak
The Government of Japan announced it will seek revision of the Act on Domestic Animal Infectious Diseases Control to allow preventative culls in case of an outbreak of African Swine Fever (ASF). Japan does not have any confirmed cases of ASF though the disease continues to spread elsewhere in East Asia.
