Jordan: Carve & Grill - FAS Amman and USMEF Kickoff Discover America Week

FAS Amman and the U.S. Meat Export Federation (USMEF) along with Jordanian partners kicked off U.S. Embassy Amman’s Discover America 2018 to highlight U.S.-Jordanian cultural, commercial and culinary engagement. The Carve & Grill event permitted the evening’s nearly 125 participants to enjoy a sampling of top-notch American beef one bite at the time. U.S. beef exports reached an all-time high in Jordan in 2017 – over $7.3 million worth of product was imported. U.S. beef exports to Jordan in the first quarter of 2018 reached almost $2 million (up by nine percent compared to the same period in 2017).
