Mexico: Expected Changes to US Skin and Hide Import Requirements

This report updates a June 23, 2021 FAS Mexico City (MX2021-0034) notification to U.S. exporters of raw bovine skins and hides on changing import requirements for those products. Due to pending revisions to the import requirement sheet (HRZ), U.S. exporters are encouraged to work very closely with their Mexican counterparts (importer, customs broker, etc.) and with National Service of Food Quality and Safety’s (SENASICA) personnel to receive the latest import indications.
