This report provides the latest information on export certificates issued by US government agencies, to comply with Mexican import standards and regulations or to attest that the corresponding agricultural and food products are subject to U.S. regulation. Minor modifications and comments have been added in section II to reflect updates from the Food Safety Inspection Service (FSIS) and Agricultural Marketing Service (AMS). At the time of this report, USDA and the Mexican Secretariat of Agriculture maintain working groups to achieve full implementation of electronic certificates.
