Morocco: Morocco Removes Import Duties on Durum and Pulses

On March 27, 2020, the government of Morocco suspended customs duties on durum wheat, lentils, chickpeas, beans and dry common beans. This measure will take effect starting April 1, 2020, and continue until further notice. The decision aims to provide regular and affordable supplies of durum and legumes during Morocco’s ongoing drought and also in preparation for the month of Ramadan.
