Philippines: Draft Regulations on Food Safety and Traceability of Imported Fish and Fish Products

An Online Public Consultation on the new Draft Fisheries Administrative Order on the Rules and Regulations Governing Food Safety and Traceability of Imported Fish is set for Wednesday, January 12 at 9:00 AM (Manila Time). Please note the deadline to register for the online public consultations is Tuesday, January 11, 2022. The draft regulation includes procedures for Sanitary and Phytosanitary (SPS) Import Clearance application, packaging and labelling requirements, border and post-border inspections, laboratory analysis, and regulatory limits, among others.
