This report contains summaries of relevant decisions and documents from the Armenia-Belarus-Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan-Russia Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) meetings, published between January 1 and April 15, 2016 that impact EAEU food and agriculture policy. Key documents included herein are EEC Collegium decision No. 11 establishing transition periods for implementation of the CU technical regulations in Kyrgyzstan, decisions No. 14 and 15 establishing veterinary requirements and a veterinary certificate form for swine embryos, as well as a number of decisions reducing EAEU imports tariff on various agricultural products, including in connection with Russia’s WTO tariff commitments. As noted herein, Russia notified several of the SPS/TBT measures covered in this report to the World Trade Organization (WTO).
