This report contains summaries of relevant decisions and documents from the Armenia-Belarus-Kazakhstan-Kyrgyzstan-Russia Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU) meetings, published between December 7, 2019, and May 18, 2020, that impact EAEU food and agriculture policy. Key documents included herein are decisions deferring scheduled import tariff increases for agricultural items for Armenia and Kyrgyzstan from 2020 to 2021, allowing temporary duty-free imports into the EAEU of some critical food items and establishing a temporary ban on exports from the EAEU of a number of food products, most notably sunflower seeds and soybeans, as part of the EAEU coronavirus pandemic response.
