In mid-May 2016, the Russian Government approved the National Report on Quarantine and Phytosanitary Status of the Territory of the Russian Federation (Government Resolution No. 871 of May 11, 2016). This is an annual report that is prepared by the Federal Phytosanitary and Veterinary Service of the Russian Federation (VPSS) based on monitoring of data of the quarantine and phytosanitary situation in the Russian Federation.
