Russia: Russian Initiates Grain Export Quota and Intervention Purchases

In response to the COVID19 epidemic and in order to ensure the agricultural security of Russian citizens, the Russian Government decided to impose a quota in the amount of 7MMT to limit exports of certain grains. The quota will be in place from April 1-June 30, 2020 (which marks the end of the current marketing year for grain).
