On June 22, 2022, the European Commission adopted its proposal for a new Regulation on the sustainable use of Plant Protection Products (SUR). The rules encourage reducing pesticides through integrated pest management and alternatives to chemical pesticides.

On September 15, 2013, the Ministry of Fisheries and Livestock released the Animal Feed Rules 2013 to ensure the quality and standard of animal feed and its production, import, export, preserving, marketing, and use. On May 25, 2022, the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare/Food Safety and Standards Authority of India (FSSAI) issued Notification F. No. STD/FA/38/FSSAI, draft amendments to the Food Safety and Standards (Food Products Standards and Food Additives) (2011) regulation. FSSAI published the draft amendment in the Gazette of India (official gazette) on May 26, 2022, uploading the same to its website on May 31, 2022.

On June 7, 2022, PRC departments, including the Ministry of Ecology and Environment, the National Development and Reform Commission, and the Ministry of Agriculture and Rural Affairs jointly issued the “National Strategy on Climate Change Adaptation 2035,” outlining broad plans for climate change adaptation through 2035.
