Senegal: Biosafety Law 2009

The Biosafety Law, 2009 contains information on the biotechnology approval process in Senegal for GE products developed domestically or by a third country. It also outlines the different bodies involved in that process. This law will remain in effect until the new revised Biosafety Law is passed by Parliament. This report contains an INFORMAL translation of the original text, as well as a copy of the original text in French.
