Senegal: Quality and Food Safety Regulations for Fruits Vegetables, and Plant Products

On March 24, 1999, the Government of Senegal passed Decree 99-259, which supports Food Safety Law 68-48. This decree specifies what ministries have the authority to develop and execute quality and safety regulations and standards for imported and domestically produced fruits and vegetables, flowers, foliage and ornamental plants. This report contains an INFORMAL translation of the original text, as well as a copy of the original text in French.
