South Africa: South Africa Lifts Ban On Poultry Imports From The Netherlands

South Africa has lifted a four-year ban on poultry imports from the Netherlands that was due to the Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza in 2016. Prior to the ban, the Netherlands was the second largest exporter of chicken meat and products to South Africa. Post expects the Netherlands to resume shipping significant volumes to South Africa as the South African market was one of the key export markets for the Netherlands.
