South Korea: 2014 Rice Production Update

On November 15, 2014, Statistics Korea (KOSTAT) released its revised rice production estimate of 4,240,739 metric tons.
This figure represents a 0.3 percent increase above last year’s crop despite a decline in rice acreage. This report is an update
to the previous PSD (KS1444).
