MY 2014/15 wheat consumption and imports remain unchanged at 3.7 million and 3.9 million tons respectively. MY2014/15 corn consumption and imports also remain static at 10.1 million and 9.6 million tons, however, U.S. corn exports are expected to decrease to 4.8 million tons due to greater supply of competitively priced corn from Eastern Europe. As well, there is an unknown impact of recent Highly Pathogenic Avian Influenza and Foot and Mouth Disease outbreaks on compound feed production. Rice production and consumption remain unchanged.
