South Korea: Update to Korea's Special Act on Imported Food Safety Management

This is an update to implementation of Korea’s Special Act on Imported Food Safety Management (GAIN KS1609). Korea’s Special Act on Imported Food Safety Management went into effect two years ago. This report reminds U.S. exporters that the facility registrations required by the Special Act are valid for two years, unless renewed. As such, the trade is encouraged to ensure facilities remain registered. Steps to do so are included.
