Taiwan: Labeling Requirement for Food Grade Dairy Powder Exported to Taiwan

Taiwan’s Ministry of Health and Welfare (MOHW) requires all packages of food grade dairy powder products that are over 10 kilograms in weight to be labeled as “food grade” or “for human consumption.” Shipments of packages not containing such statements may be rejected at port if the importer cannot produce documentation verifying the products are fit for human consumption.
