Taiwan: Taiwan Awards 8000 MT of Final 2016 U.S. Rice Normal Tender

On November 25, Taiwan awarded 8,000 metric tons (MT) of Tender GF4-105142 for 14,884 MT of U.S.-origin rice for delivery by June 1, 2017. The 2nd round tender for the remaining 6,884 MT is expected to be held in two weeks. With this purchase Taiwan will have completed 89 percent of the 2016 U.S. rice country specific quota (CSQ).
