Tunisia: Controls on Salmonella in Poultry

This report contains an unofficial translation of Tunisia’s domestic regulation on salmonella controls in poultry production, which extends to imported day-old chicks and hatching eggs. Tunisian imports of day-old chicks and hatching eggs total $6 million/year, including $1 million currently sourced from the United States. This measure has not been notified to the WTO.
