Turkey: FAIRS Country Report

  |   Attaché Report (GAIN)

This report outlines specific requirements for food and agricultural products that will be imported to Turkey. It was prepared by the Office of the USDA Foreign Agricultural Service in Turkey for U.S. exporters of food and agricultural products. It should be read in conjunction with the Food and Agricultural Import Regulations and Standards FAIRS Certificate Report. There have not been major changes in food import regulations in Turkey in the last year, but changes of note include new regulations on energy drinks, proposed new restrictions for advertising and labeling of some products, and restructuring of the Turkish government and policy-making entities.
