Turkey: Turkey Again Delays Implementation of New Labeling System

Turkey has delayed the implementation of a Product Verification Monitoring System (PVMS) for another three months. The system which targets six food categories was scheduled to go into effect on June 30, 2017, but has been postponed until October 2, 2017. The categories include food supplements; honey; energy drinks; black tea; vegetable oil; infant formulas, follow-on formulas and supplementary baby foods. It has been postponed five times before.
