Turkey: Turkey Again Delays Implementation of New Labeling System

Turkey has delayed the implementation of a Product Verification Monitoring System (PVMS) for another three months. The system which targets six food categories was scheduled to go into effect on October 2, 2017, but has been postponed until December 31, 2017. The categories include food supplements, honey, energy drinks, black tea, vegetable oil, infant formulas, follow-on formulas and supplementary baby foods. It has been postponed six times before.
