For MY2017/18 wheat and barley production volumes are forecast to decrease, while corn and rye are expected to increase. Ukraine will remain an active grain exporter. The national economy stabilized and farmers are back on track, purchasing seeds and agrochemical inputs. Recent amendments to the Tax Code will likely decrease state support for agriculture. Ukrainian millers are actively seeking export markets for their products.
