On October 30, the Department for Business and Trade (DBT) extended over 220 voluntary tariff suspensions announced following the 2021 and 2023 application periods, through June 30, 2026. The announcement synchronizes multiple expiration periods across different suspension applications. The UK government is also continuing to review applications for tariff suspensions received in early 2024, with suspensions for accepted products expected to be implemented in early 2025. The UK has also confirmed volumes for 2025 for its 6 autonomous tariff quotas (ATQs) for fish products and raw cane sugar with commitments to review these for 2026.
