Espacio Food and Service
Espacio Food and Service (EF&S) is Chile’s major food show and the second most important professional food fair in Latin America. Considered a gateway to the Latin America market, Espacio Food and Service draws key industry representatives from the hotel, restaurant, and institutional sector as well as supermarkets and fast food chains. More than 20,000 visitors attend EF&S annually. Best market prospects include poultry, pork (chilled/fresh), beef, cheese, healthy foods and beverages, craft beer and spirits, ready-made foods, snack foods, cereals, value-added products, fruit juices (orange, grapefruit), and animal feed. EF&S has been USDA-endorsed since 2019. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, EF&S 2021 was reformatted as a virtual conference rather than an in-person trade show and EF&S 2020 was cancelled. In 2019, this newly USDA-endorsed trade show welcomed 41 exhibitors in the USA Pavilion.
