Latin America: Trendy Markets for U.S. Sweets & Snacks
Go on a virtual trek south of the border to uncover new business opportunities during Trendy Markets for U.S. Sweets and Snacks, a virtual trade event hosted by USDA’s Foreign Agricultural Service for exporters of U.S. packaged sweets and snacks.
The event will take place online April 20-21, 2021, offering participants the chance to learn about economic and favorable trade conditions in Costa Rica, Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Guatemala, Honduras, Nicaragua, and Panama – all countries with U.S. free trade agreements. Participants will also connect with potential buyers via virtual business-to-business meetings and have the opportunity to showcase their products at virtual exhibit booths.
The United States is the region’s largest trading partner, and as a result, shoppers are accustomed to finding high-quality, safe, and delicious U.S. products everywhere, from small corner stores and supermarkets to high-end gourmet stores. This well-established trading environment provides great prospects for U.S. exporters looking to expand their footprint in the region and partner with retailers who are dependent on imported products to meet growing consumer demands.
