India: Tariff Hike on U.S. Agricultural Products Deferred to April 1
On February 26, 2019, the Government of India’s (GOI) Ministry of Finance (MOF) further deferred the implementation date, from March 2 to April 1, 2019, to increase the basic custom duty (BCD) on specific U.S. agricultural products (i.e. shelled and in-shell almonds, in-shell walnuts, fresh apples, and pulses).
