On April 14, the Ministry of Agriculture approved the “Regarding export of certain goods from the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan” decree outlining wheat and wheat flour export restrictions valid until June 15, 2022.
On April 27, 2022, the Turkish Government published new Biosafety Decision approvals for the import of genetically engineered (GE) soybean and corn. Taiwan: Taiwan Publishes Updated MRL Lists

On April 19, 2022, Taiwan notified the WTO of updates to its pesticide residue limits for foods and animal products. Attached to this report are tables containing the new or revised standards for 58 new chemical/crop combinations and 31 new chemical/animal combinations.
On April 15, the State Council Tariff Commission (SCTC) announced another extension until November 30, 2022, for the Section 301 retaliatory tariff exclusions on 11 specific agricultural products, including shrimp for cultivation, whey for feed, fishmeal for feed, alfalfa, and six hardwood products.

This report is an annual update of Venezuela's agricultural product import standards and enforcement mechanisms for U.S. exporters of agricultural commodities, foods, and beverages. Venezuela remains a complicated but promising market for U.S. agricultural products. The market has grown by 260 percent since 2019, illustrating opportunities exist.

In 2021, China released several regulations and standards, including the revised Administrative Measures on Import and Export Food Safety, revised Regulations on the Registration and Administration of Overseas Producers of Imported Food, regulations overseeing variety registration of major crops and the safety assessment of agriculture GMOs, and the full text of the National Food Safety Standard of Maximum Residue Limits for Pesticides in Food (GB 2763-2021).
